As the Service General Manager you will control the delivery of Customer Service, Service Engineering, Account Management and Business Development with a team of circa 30, managing a £1m turnover, UK-wide. The business supplies B2B and B2C customerswith specialisthi-tech, high value products.
• Lead and manage the Service Engineering team to deliver timely customer service.
• Ensure call centre continues to provide highly skilled advice and support to both customers and the engineering team.
• Develop and maintain the appropriate skill levels across the team.
• New business development to continue the growth pattern.
• Account management for major accounts, ensuring SLA delivery and account support where necessary.
• Ensure spare parts management supports the delivery of the overall service
• Manage the fleet of vans and the engineers' base and storage locations.
• Deliver financial budgetary targets through P/L and balance sheet management.
• Ensure new sales leads are appropriately handled. This is sensitive to both the B2B customers and, due to the nature of the products, to the end users (for B2B and B2C)
Who we're looking for
Preferably degree/ HND qualified in an Electro-Mechanical Engineering discipline, potentially with a higher level commercial qualification you will be able to:
