Daily management of the residence focusing on the company's key objectives of providing high quality customer service and revenue generation. Ensure the residence runs efficiently and cost effectively in line with company policies and procedures. Work with and develop staff and team to achieve personal and business goals.

Who we're looking for
The General Manager will have responsibility for managing the residence under the direction of the Operations Manager. He/she will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of customer service is provided to maximise revenue generation. This will be achieved through the delivery of residences services and effective staff management.

The close working relationship with the team will be key to the success of this role and the residence. The ability to manage, coach and develop the team is important for the efficient running of a profitable centre, as is the development of relationships with clients. Therefore the ability to communicate effectively at all levels is essential.

Financial management will be a main focus of the role with responsibility, in conjunction with the Operations Manager, for daily management of budgets, P&L and cost control. The General Manager will be accountable for maintaining the profitability and occupancy of the residence, so a full understanding of the business is vital.

The General Manager will be based at the residence which they have responsibility for. He/she will report directly to the Operations Manager responsible for the cluster of centres.
