Group Financial Controller

Our client, a leading property investment company is looking to recruit a Group Financial Controller based in their prestigious central London offices. You will have a high degree of autonomy and the ability to give 'value add' solutions to the business. The role encompasses

· Overview of the consolidation process and application of IFRS

· Production of interim and annual reports for shareholders

· Complete autonomy for the coordination of the plc reporting cycle

· Development of the forecasting tools, strategic plans and the financial planning process

· Development of KPIs and cash flow forecasting

· Capital allocation reviews with the main board

· Investor Relations activities including research reports and interface with analysts

· Evaluations of investment proposals and the due diligence surrounding potential acquisitions and new business opportunities

· Implementation of new systems for reporting and planning tools

· Tax and Treasury responsibilities.

Who we're looking for
We will be looking for candidates who have had strong exposure to IFRS and who are comfortable with managing a small team in international operations and overseeing the consolidation processes for financial reporting, management accounting and business planning. You will need to be able to communicate lucidly and effectively with senior management and you will be expected to support the directors with strategy as well as the technical aspect of the role.
