Group Media Relations Manager

Build corporate profile to protect and enhance its reputation.
Reinforce an understanding among key national journalists ofthe strategy.
A key member of the media relations team, prepare and deliver the group's preliminary and interim results to an ever broadening media audience.
Formulate and implement PR plans in support of strategic business objectives. Liaise with relevant senior management to ensure fit with overall strategy.
Liaise with members of the executive, colleagues at corporate centre and within group businesses to ensure that external messages are informed and consistent with corporate activity.
Work with senior management across the group to anticipate and prepare for key issues that may impact upon the group's reputation.
Work closely with the Group's investor relations, legal, secretariat and finance departments to ensure consistency of external media messages.

Who we're looking for
Relevant university degree, related professional qualification or proven media relations track record with a major organisation.
Proven senior media relations experience in FTSE 100 companies and/or major corporates.
Capable of commanding the respect of professional colleagues and working contacts in the media.
