Store Manager

As Store Manager you will be responsible for the daily management of all store operations. This will include people management, driving sales, cost control, identifying commercial opportunities and ensuring that health and safety and operational procedures are managed in line with Clas Ohslon policies.

As a new store launch the role will require a particular focus on driving communications, local marketing and ensuring that brand standards are consistent, setting a precedent for future growth within the UK. The store will operate in a large high street format with a footprint of approx 20,000 square feet.

Customer service will be one of the key features of Clas Ohlson's launch in the UK market, driving customer service standards above and beyond normal expectations will be a focal point of the Store Manager.

Task and Responsibilities

Lead, manage and develop store operations.
Maximise sales and commercial opportunities in population catchment
Development and implementation of business plan
Implementation of commercial calendar in line with UK marketing strategy
Maintain local market awareness of customers and competition
Manage p&l performance of store operation within budget
Responsible for workforce planning, contracts and adherence to employment laws
Leadership and personal development of co-workers
Manage daily team communications, delegating and coordinating activities
Ensure company procedures are followed in relation to security and cash handling
Maintain adherence to company health and safety procedures in store
Be good representative of Clas Ohlson towards local authorities
