Clas Ohlson is looking for a high calibre candidate with a proven retail background as a Visual Merchandiser in a high volume operation.
Due to the nature of the product this is a fast moving environment - an ability to deliver effective merchandising and react to sales patterns, whilst embracing process, is therefore essential.
As a Visual Merchandiser you will be responsible for point of sale, customer navigation,promotional and window displays in store. Your key objective is to maximise sales. Essentially, you are responsible for the 'look' of the store.
Task and responsibilities
Ensure store layout and merchandising in line with conceptual standards
Development and implementation of visual merchandising and promotional plans
Deliver team communications regarding merchandising and promotional plans
Responsible for planning of merchandising and promotional changes
Implementation of merchandising procedure in line with Clas Ohlson
Maintain local market awareness of competitors merchandising and promotional activity
Maintain adherence to company health and safety procedures in store
Be a good representative of Clas Ohlson towards local authorities

An individual who develops a vision for areas of responsibility setting realistic goals and objectives
General knowledge and competence regarding merchandising and promotional plans
Experience in retail merchandising principles
Previous experience in managing point of sale activity
Sales analysis experience<BR>Takes ownership and engages all employees in reaching objectives
Prioritises task and information retaining a focus on important objectives
Effectively engages others in work, utilising resources and maintaining good relationships
Always strives for continuous improvement
Has resilience and tenacity when requires in delivery of objectives
