Accountability
Develop an effective Regional strategy that supports the overall Retail strategy and delivers the KPIs
• Monitor Regional KPIs and performance trends and take appropriate action to address any issues
• Conduct regular business and personal reviews with Area Managers and take the necessary action and follow up
• Identify stores of concern and visit / review with the relevant Area Manager to ensure the business potential is being maximised and risks minimised
• Establish a culture of Operational Excellence across Region to ensure compliance with all company polices, procedures and instructions
• Contribute to the annual budgeting process and re-forecasting process when required
• Effectively monitor and control all costs within budget (payroll, stock loss etc)
• Utilise Regional support functions to maximise own Regions performance
• Undertaking projects for Business development and own development
• Identification of new stores and refurbish. Involvement in the Capex and Appraisal process and business sign off
Customer Service Excellence
• Ensure consistent delivery of outstanding service standards throughout the Region ensuring the "Delight" factor is achieved
Personal Effectiveness
• Provide high quality feedback to the business on issues affecting Retail whilst identifying and following through on possible solutions
• Build and utilise positive relationships with internal and external customers
• Influence the Business at all levels
• Develops and utilises commercial and Industry awareness to increase sales
• Ensures optimum personal effectiveness through excellent planning and organisation of workload and processes
Working With People
• Develop excellent relationships with key HO personnel and influence key personnel to maximise business potential
• Ensure line manager is updated on key actions and initiatives
• Be an Ambassador for ensuring the Welfare and Health and Safety of all employees is protected
Leading and Developing the Team
• Establish a team of outstanding Area Managers through regular reviews, training and development and sharing of best practice
• Reviews the Area Managers "Ways of Working" and amend processes to improve
• Establish a clearly defined Regional succession plan and train and develop the management team to support the plan and est

Who we're looking for
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Area Manager or current Regional Controller within a service driven retail environment. You will need to have a passion for delivering results and drive excellence through strong leadership qualities. current exposure to a minimum of 30 million.
