As part of their expansion, Scotia Gas Networks are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join this busy and dynamic finance function.
Reporting to the Finance Manager responsible for business partnering the Operations Director of a c. £100m business division your responsibilities will include:

• Monitor financial and non-financial operational performance and report issues and hotspots to the Operations Management Team, ensuring decisions are based on the best available information.
Fully participate in the financial month end process including accruals and prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Initiate and deliver ad-hoc exercises to improve financial controls and to increase the quality and accuracy of management information and reporting systems.
• Coordinate and create annual Budgets and Forecasts, thereby contributing towards robust financial planning and control.

Who we're looking for
You will be a part qualified Accountant or finalist actively working towards full qualification and have worked in a finance function.
You will have the ambition & ability to progress to Finance Manager within 2/3 years.

The jobholder will possess a high intellectual capacity, rounded business skills as well as commercial acumen.
You will be highly numerate and possess a high level of concern for order, quality and delivery to strict deadlines.

What's on offer
