Reporting to the General Manager, this is a management position based at our clients key distribution site in the North West that will enable you to demonstrate your talents and play a pivotal role as part of the site team integral in driving the business forward. Working together with the Senior Management team you will manage a growing operation in an efficient and cost effective manner to ensure that the site meets and exceeds exacting Customer Service, Quality and Safety requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for a results focused warehouse manager to play a pivotal role in growing a contained division of an established business.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of success within a warehousing and distribution environment. Furthermore, you will have an understanding of pallet network operations and be able to manage a small fleet of vehicles and drivers.Your ability to prioritise will be key, as will a good eye for detail. Self-motivated and confident, you must have a versatile and persistent approach to problem solving and thrive on the challenge of achieving results. Our client wants the successful candidate to challenge current thinking, have ideas, and really make a difference. You will be a proven and successful People manager, adept at developing and inspiring your team. You will have also been proactively involved in developing and managing and encouraging a positive Health and Safety culture, implementing KPI's, championing warehouse development and project management. Essential personal attributes required include; natural leadership, strong analytical skills, influencing and tenacity.
