As a Continuous Improvement Engineer your responsibilities will include:
• Leading activities to deliver targeted improvement to the business.
• Leading Business Process Reengineering initiatives from customer Request For Quotation(RFQ) to despatch of order.
• Training, developing and coaching of staff in Lean tools.
• Facilitating teams to deliver improvements.
The successful candidate will have good presentation skills, ability to coach and mentor all members of staff and have experience in the implementation of process improvements using lean tools e.g. 5S, Waste Elimination, VSM, Visual Management, Kanban and Total Preventative Maintenance(TPM).
Who we're looking for
Educated to degree standard within a technical discipline, you will also ideally be a qualified six sigma black belt having successfully completed a number of continuous improvement projects.
• Comfortable facilitating CI events.
• Demonstrable experience of working within an engineering/design environment or similar.
• Experience in a New Product Introduction or comparable role.
