As Product Manager, the successful candidate will assist in setting the agenda for valuations in the fixed income or equity derivative space, and assist in sharing this vision with clients, prospective client partners, and the market. In addition, the Valuations Product Manager will shape the development of new and innovative solutions in the valuation space and contribute to driving the business forward.
Reporting to the Managing Director, key responsibilities will include:
* Formulating a vision for valuation and risk services for fixed income or equity derivatives
* Assisting in setting priorities for marketing, sales, service delivery and development
* Defining and maintaining the roadmap and requirements for best of breed service evolution and setting quality standards
* Supporting client services, sales groups and marketing initiatives
* Working with senior management to evaluate existent business lines and new products and services
Who we're looking for
This challenging and exciting remit requires excellent communication skills, an enthusiasm for driving the development of the business, and a commitment to delivering outstanding quality of service. A very strong background in financial mathematics supported by considerable, demonstrable experience in the field of fixed income and cash instruments or equities and their derivatives is essential. This strong background in valuation and risk modelling will create the opportunity to anticipate requirements and market trends.
The successful applicant will be highly literate and be willing to participate in delivering presentations to prospective clients and leading meetings with people across different professional backgrounds.
