As Program Sourcing Quality Manager you will be an integral part of ensuring that products are successfully delivered to market. This role offers a high degree of autonomy which means you will be self motivated to ensure that projects are completed on time.

You will liaise with internal development teams to anticipate potential quality issues that may arise and subsequently visit the suppliers, largely based in China to eliminate these problems during the development phase. Through continued interaction with the supply base you will make sure they have the process capability to produce the volume and quality of components that are required.

Who we're looking for
A Six Sigma Green Belt qualified Quality Engineer or a Design Engineer with experience of working with mobile phones.Your skill set should include:
• Experience of working within a mechanical engineering environment- automotive, aerospace or similar.
• Track record of achievements that prove you are someone who delivers against objectives.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
• Ideally have worked in a role that requires you to interact with external suppliers
