As Press Officer you will play and important role within theorganisations press office in promoting the company's objectives, activities andachievements; undertaking both reactive and proactive mediahandling/public relations as an integral part of campaign delivery. You will organise and attend press events, briefings and interviews and oversee external speaking engagements and speeches. You will be required to draft press releases, briefings, statements and articles. Lastly, because of the nature of the organisation you will be required to deal with restricted and confidential information and understand the restrictions and importance of this.

Who we're looking for
As Press Officer you will:
• have a proven track record in media relations and PR
• strong communication skills
• be able to work under pressure
• be able to advise, influence and persuade others, often at senior levels
• be of graduate calibre
• some knowledge of public sector or financial services organisations would be advantageous
