PFI Bid Director

Waste to Energy

Your role as PFI Bid Director will be to lead the Waste to Energy team working in the formation and delivery of Waste to Energy bids for the Investments division of this leading national contractor. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and identifying partners for the bid. You will lead a team of Design, Commercial and Bid staff and be responsible for managing the co-ordination of the supply chain partners along with the programme of works after successful financial close. As PFI Bid Director you will have responsibility for Waste to Energy activities at investment level with close liaison with the Investor Partners and Local Authority with responsibility for the SPV.

Who we're looking for
You will have experience working within the Waste, Energy or Recycling environment at SPV level. You will have had experience of running major programmes of work and held positions at a strategic business level. Ideally from a building contractor of service provider background, you must have had experience of the formation of a PFI bid, sourcing and securing finance and successfully bid PFI projects to financial close.
