An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Charities Solicitor to join our clients' busy team and to assist in the development of their nationally regarded practice. You will mainly be dealing with the non-contentious work.
The work will include advising clients on applications for registration to the Charity Commission, the formation of incorporated and unincorporated charities, the creation, administration and variation of charitable trusts, Charity Commission compliance, corporate governance, trustee remuneration, mergers and de-mergers and Charity Commission investigations and reviews.
Who we're looking for
Our client is looking for an experienced charities solicitor who has a real desire to work alongside local and national charities. An important part of the role will be to both develop existing and form new relationships with charities locally and nationally.
Initially alot of time will be spent out of the office visiting charity officials and lawyers at their places of business, together with presenting seminars and promoting business development initiatives.
