The successful individual will have a number of key accountabilities in this role:
• Deliver objectives on sales, profit, debt, CRM and customer satisfaction in a manner that represents the ethics and values of the HSS business and professionally portrays a business-like image to both customers and potential customers.
• Generate sales leads for yourself and others (where possible) whilst operating a customer-focused contact strategy and managing/growing a sales portfolio to achieve sales and profit targets.
• Use your knowledge of local markets, competition and customers to propose deals and ways of working that balance customer needs with our business targets.
• Implement sales campaigns, working with local branches to maximise their impact in your region.
• Champion customer needs and regularly check their views on the service levels of HSS, feeding vital information to your Regional Sales Manager.
• Work closely with the operations team to achieve sales growth and excellent customer service, responding promptly to all leads provided by the Account Development Team.
Who we're looking for
In order to be successful in this role you should possess the following qualities:
• A demonstrable track record of success in a field sales role, ideally within an Industrial sales environment.
• Strong territory planning, time management and communication skills.
• Living within the Midlands you will be used to working from home and planning your diary accordingly.
• A high degree of customer focus and commercial awareness, able to forge strong relationships with clients at varying levels.
• The ability to identify and successfully close new sales opportunities within your territory.
• A strong desire to achieve and exceed targets and to develop within a truly exciting and dynamic business.
