You will be carrying out work across the employment law field. This role has a contentious focus but there will be some advisory work thrown in. Tribunal experience is not essential, but may be advantageous. You may be a solicitor or barrister qualified in England and Wales or a foreign qualified lawyer from a comparable jurisdiction. Experience of working in a local authority environment would again be advantageous but is certainly not a prerequisite of this position.
Who we're looking for
• England and Wales qualified solicitor or barrister or qualified in a comparable jurisdiction
• Experience of English employment law
• Tribunal/advocacy experience would be advantageous but not essential, as would experience of local authority work
• You must be either be immediately available to start working or be on a 3 week notice period or less
