My client is a large public sector organisation based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Following the imminent departure of the current post holder, they are looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accounting Manager to operationally lead the existing management accounting teams.

Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for the preparation of each budget holders' management accounts. With 2 direct reports, you will be responsible for a team of 10 finance staff therefore an element of the role will involve coaching, influencing and negotiating.

This will initially be recruited on a contract basis but this is a genuine tem-to-perm opportunity.

Who we're looking for
You will be a qualified accountant with broad finance experience and team leadership skills.
