Following a recent internal promotion our client a market leading specialist engineering business are keen to source a qualified HR professional to manage the day to day activities of the HR function.Managing 4 direct reports you will need to illustrate competence from an operational HR perspective and an understanding of wider HR strategy.
The role will also involve:
• Managing all aspects of employee relations from disciplinary and grievance cases through to wider employment law changes.
• All aspects of recruitment and selection
• Coaching, mentoring and development of direct reports and the wider management team
• Reviewing and updating the businesses policies in relation to pay and reward
• Chairing and coordinating the quarterly employee forum

Who we're looking for
• CIPD part or fully qualified or equivalent qualification
• Working knowledge of the Engineering sector would be beneficial
• Strong business acumen
