An exciting role has arisen with my client for a Group Sourcing Project Manager to join the team based in the Cambridge area. Reporting to the Sourcing Director the main responsibilities of the role will be:
• Global commodity responsibility across a number of products / components and driving strategic sourcing activities across this portfolio.
• Ensure all suppliers have robust commercial agreements in place driving performance improvement and enabling timely and appropriate response to poor performance as necessary.
• Develop and lead NPI projects relating to your portfolio
• Create a coherent category strategy in line with objectives to meet the business requirements across logistics, service, quality, cost and innovation.

Who we're looking for
The ideal Candidate will be/ have:
• Educated to Degree level
• CIPS
• You will already be a successful commodity procurement specialist, ideally working at a strategic level or looking to make that step after a supporting role in a similar capacity.
