AHomewares Buyer to be based at Head Office and reporting to the Buying Director the candidate will:
• Be responsible for a small buying team
• Source innovative ranges of products (seasonal experience preferred but not essential) from both home and overseas to meet deadlines
• Have a creative influence to products and packaging
• Use negotiation skills to drive profitability
• Have people skills to maximise deals & relationships
• Work well as a team and have resilience when under pressure

Who we're looking for
A Senior Buyer :
• Ideally of graduate calibre
• Be able to demonstrate a buying track record in seasonal markets, preferably with hard goods, gifts and/ or lighting
• Be a strong & confident negotiator and communicator
• Have a background of effective supplier relationships, and have examples of delivering growth and profit to the business
