The Project Planner will be based in the Midlands and report directly into the Operations Manager. The role offers excellent potential for progression and can lead on to a number of different positions within the company.
Responsibilities:
• Seeing projects from start to finish; from contract agreement through to hand over.
• Heavily involved in all detailed Project Planning of installations.
• Ensuring technical input into commissioning and testing.
• Provide service support for all areas of material handling projects.
• Comprehensive training in both the UK and at the company's Headquarters in Veghel, The Netherlands, is an integral part of this challenging role.
• Responsibilities in contract administration.
Who we're looking for
• You must be self-motivated and ambitious to develop your career within a business offering an excellent level of investment in training & development.
• The ideal candidate will have recently graduated within an engineering discipline or will have general engineering experience gained in a construction or installation environment.
• You will be computer literate and ideally have some knowledge of project planning software (e.g. Primavera, Microsoft Project).
• Excellent organizational skills and capable of dealing with complex engineering projects.
• Able to relate to people at all levels and be able to communicate planning needs clearly.

Our client is a growing international company with a world wide reputation in innovative material handling systems for distribution centres, e-commerce, parcel handling and manufacturing industry. The company is also a well known supplier of baggage handling systems for airports. As part of their growth strategy, the UK subsidiary has created a new position which will be involved in engineering contracts up to £20m.
