The organisation is currently expanding into the infrastructure sector and requires a Purchasing Manager to support the Supply Chain Director in this developing area. You will be responsible for leading the procurement for selected projects across the organisation and maximise the value of the procurement process across project work . You will research, develop and implement improved and innovative relationships with suppliers aimed at establishing commercial, technical and execution environments for delivery improved value. On a monthly basis you will report on the procurement function and develop and implement improvement programmes with the vendors to improve continuous improvement.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be MCIPS qualified (or working towards) and have a proven track record of blue chip capital projects in theconstruction, infrastructure, nuclear or utilities sectors. You will have a high level of intellect and analytical skillsand have a professional approach with sound ethical judgement.
