The Area Sales Manager's main responsibility is to achieve and exceed agreed monthly sales/profit targets set by the Company. This involves providing an excellent service to existing customers and developing new business within the London and South East territory. Sourcing new leads, building strong relationships and persistent follow up on leads and quotations is key to developing this business You will be dealing directly with architects and also contractors on a project by project basis.
Who we're looking for
You will have demonstrable field sales experience with a construction related product. You should have experience of having sold through the architect/contractor route to market and ideally have dealt with 'exterior' products. Exposure to specialist stonework would be a distinct advantage. You should also be able to demonstrate:
• A passion for achieving targets whilst providing excellent customer service
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Clean drivers licence
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Computer literate
