This position is responsible to lead the financial activities of the Program Management and Engineering functions based in Fareham,UK. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, program financial control, measurement and reporting; contract management accounting application in accordance with applicable financial reporting requirements (Sarbanes-Oxley, GAAP etc), lead customer new business proposals, analyse and report cost drivers and spend activities for Division engineering leaders to include - new development activities/engineering costing rates/ budget variances.

Who we're looking for
Candidate should possess strong technical expertise (US GAAP/IAS) in accounting and finance, specifically in application to commercial / government long-term development and production contracts. Experience in program/project accounting with success in leading teams and managing multiple projects.
You will demonstrates strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish cross function relationships. Proven leadership and problem solving skills are essential and experience working within an Integrated Product Development team environment would be preferred.
You will possess a Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. MBA/CPA/CMA preferred, but not required. Senior experience gained within accounting/finance field with Aerospace sector experience preferred.
Knowledge of computerised accounting systems to include word processing, spreadsheet software and integrated ERP / accounting systems (i.e. Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
