• Support the Merchandising Manager/Merchandiser with the development of commercial plans to support the delivery of the annual P&L targets
• Take responsibility for the accurate and timely input of data for a set of product groups to support commercial decision making that delivers/exceeds sales, margin and contribution targets
• Work with the Merchandiser to adhere to buying calendars that ensure the efficient introduction of NPD
• Support the integration of the financial and demand plans at SKU level to ensure clear, timely and accurate input to the S&OP process, thus ensuring a consistent view of current performance and forecasted performance
• Analyse SKU level performance at appropriate intervals, recommending corrective action to optimise sales, margin and contribution
• Manage inventory stock levels to optimise on shelf availability and ensure write off costs are minimised through appropriate execution of clearance activity
• A keen eye for trends and leading Fashion from the front
• Used to working in a fast paced Retail environment

Who we're looking for
• Experience of working in a fast paced Retail or FMCG environment combined with an entrepreneurial eye for opportunities that deliver growth
• Ability to influence others from a junior to senior level within the organisation through clear and concise presentation of fact based evidence
• Able to demonstrate a track record of sound commercial fact based decision making
• Ability to analyse complex issues and data to drive out clear and actionable conclusions
• Both a creative and numerate approach to problem solving, underpinned by a solution focused mentality
