The docStore team lead the market in outsourced document management solutions for Proof of Delivery and Invoice Automation applications, their customers include ANC, Amtrak, FedEx, Wolseley and Screwfix.
Based in Shropshire, the Business Development Executive will have sole responsibility for creating new business by identifying prospects and selling integrated document management services to high level decision makers in the West Midlands.
Duties will include:
• Generating a database of prospective leads within the Midlands area
• Identifying new business opportunities through cold calling, organising mail shots generating leads etc
• Organise new business meetings directly
• Actively investigate customer requirements
• Effectively filter and qualify prospects
• Coordinate post-sale handover to customer relations
• Maintain CRM database with accurate meeting notes and cleanse data as necessary.
• Display excellent business process understanding and excellent product knowledge.
• Promote docStore product strategy and services
• Keep abreast of product developments with particular focus on key strategic suppliers
• Keep abreast of the Industry/competitor environment
You will be targeted on Key performance measures such as:
• No of meetings per week/month/year
• No of quotes obtained per week/month/year
• No of orders generated per week/month/year
• Weekly reporting
• Updated CRM system
• Knowledge of docStore's Solution Selling Process
• Knowledge of docStore's products and processes
Who we're looking for
We are looking for a high calibre candidate with field sales experience, selling managed services business2business with a proven track record of success.
You must be self-driven and motivated, with a positive outlook and have a clear focus on high quality and business success. We are looking for someone who is able to display excellent communication skills, who has experience in speaking with the key decision makers.
Attainments/Skills:
Have proven experience and success in similar previous positions, working within a results orientated environment. An understanding of the key principles of solution selling is desirable.
