Non Production Buyer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a non production buyer with our client , a leading manufacturing company. The key responsibilities of this role will include:
• Analyse the current indirect spend portfolio to identify opportunities for cost reduction, re-sourcing and supplier rationalisation.
• Look across the indirect spend which incorporates numerous categories including PPE, chemicals, facilities (both hard & soft) services, utilities, fleet & transport, phones etc.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure new supply agreements are adhered to and utilised to best value.
• Work closely with the rest of the team to ensure the overall cost savings target is achieved.

Who we're looking for
You will ideally be CIPS qualified.
You will have a good level of experience of indirect purchasing and negotiating contract Terms and Conditions.
Experience of purchasing within a manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
