Leicester City Primary Care Trust is seeking a seasoned Media and PR Manager to build the organisation's reputation as a world class commissioner of healthcare services and leader of the local NHS, and to contribute towards improving the health of the local population.
You will develop high-profile media and PR strategies which support the delivery of the organisation's objectives, and you will work closely with colleagues in the Marketing, Communications and PR Department to prepare and deliver a programme of well co-ordinated events and activities.

You will play a key role in enhancing and managing the reputation of the Trust and the local NHS, ensuring that our successes are shared and celebrated, and that information reported is fair, accurate and balanced.

Who we're looking for
You are enthusiastic, confident and motivated. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are flexible and adaptable, and able to prioritise your own workload, often working under pressure.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, and possess suitable experience in a media-related role.

You will have an exemplary track record of success and are able to demonstrate effective handling of crisis communications situations. You are an effective team player with the ability to inspire and motivate those around you. Your verbal and written communication skills are impeccable and you are able to work with and influence people from a wide range of backgrounds.
