This is a challenging role requiring a confident and experienced person with strong leadership skills. In addition you will be:
• ACCA or CIMA part qualified or qualified by experience and previous position.
• An accounting professional with a high level of commercial exposure and the ability to take ownership of the management accounting function.
• Able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of budgeting and forecasting of foreign exchange and currency transactions.
• IT literate with a good knowledge of MS Excel while experience of SUN Accounting Systems would be a distant advantage.
• An excellent staff motivator with demonstrable management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail
• A confident communicator at all levels, able to prepare reports for senior management and Directors as required.
Who we're looking for
The position of Supervisor is a key appointment, the post holder having responsibility for the efficient day to day running of the department. The head office team handle's the accounts of not just the Company's UK businesses but also much of the Group's worldwide operations.
For this a competent and outgoing management accountant is needed, ideally with a background in a man management although this is not essential.
