Main Function
To plan and manage specific initiatives for the CRES (Corporate and Real Estate Services) spend category so as to ensure business needs are met and drive commercial advantage through cost, quality and delivery.
Main Duties
• Manage the ongoing relationship with specified supplier(s), to ensure that the agreed business objectives and quality standards are delivered on time and on budget.
• Identify, recommend, negotiate implement and monitor contractual changes as required in order to ensure costs and services evolve to match changing business needs.
• Report on worldwide performance levels for relevant contracts, tracking and escalating SLA failures and proposing options for resolution
Facilitate the early identification, correct assessment and effective management of material contractual issues at Group and/or regional levels
• Monitor internal customer satisfaction and take appropriate action to ensure contracted services continue to meet internal customer expectations
• Provide colleagues and customers at all levels with expert advice and guidance in order to enable them to understand and maximise the benefits achievable from good practice in supplier management
• Development of sourcing strategies and supplier networks for specified areas of spend, to meet group needs
• Implement agreed sourcing strategies and monitor progress, taking action as necessary to achieve targets and improvements in cost, quality, service and innovation
As required, lead and/or contribute to negotiations with Group suppliers to secure contractual arrangements which represent the best possible commercial deal for the Group
Who we're looking for
• Graduate calibre
• highly numerate individual
• Supply chain management experience, including senior category management roles within a global purchasing function
• CIPS qualified preferred
• Proven track record of supplier process development and improvement
