This is a hands-on role and one which is instrumental in meeting strategic retail objectives. The buyer will be responsible for identifying trends and forecasting market shifts.
• Prepares buying plan based on the sales forecast
• Attends fairs and exhibitions
• Identifies suppliers and selects products consistent with the local taste
• Negotiates orders and the terms of delivery
• Manages product line, inventory replenishment, and sell through
• Monitors sales per item
• Reorders products as required

• Thorough working knowledge of retail issues including local market tastes, sales per item and producing forecasts and season planning.

• Must have Experience in Sourcing Products including:vases,lamps,candles,mirrors,paintings,wall hangings,picture frames, candles,and other gift &decoration items.
