An exciting opportunity to lead a high profile team which is responsible for the operational support to Group Financial Planning and Analysis and Group Projects. The role holder will have 3 managers who are responsible for Group Board outputs, Strategic projects including reporting and Divisional support to Divisions.
Manage the delivery of key the Group's monthly Board and reports and customer number reports
Manage the delivery of reports for the Group's Strategic Action Plans, and outputs to Group Executive Management Committee and the Group Integration Directorate.
Manage the delivery of half and full year briefing requirements.
Support for Group level outputs supporting the Budget and forecast cycles including Strategy Board deliverables.
Provide strategic direction and support to the Optimising Finance Programme.
To manage operational engagement with key internal stakeholders, including Group Reporting Financial Controls, Systems and Support.
Responsible for the risk and control environment covering the delivery and management of outputs.
Strong team leadership and people development skills
Who we're looking for
Post qualified (or qualified by experience) with strong financial services background.
Proven team management and delivery experience.
Demonstrable organisational and planning skills.
Proven organisational and planning skills, and able to work in a high pressure and demanding environment.
Ability to deliver to very tight deadlines with the ability to demonstrate flexibility and adapt to challenging situations.
Forward thinking and able to anticipate, initiate reporting changes .
Strong leadership skills and people skills.
Prepared to work to extended customer deadlines and working patterns, consistent with a team that provides support to the Group Finance Director.
