Asset Manager - Real Estate Debt

Based in London the Asset Manager - Real Estate Debt will be responsible for management of real estate loan portfolio by:

• Ensuring timely delivery of all loan surveillance routines and reports
• Assessing each portfolio asset for performance risk and loan retention opportunity
• Developing and implementing strategic plan for each asset
• Interfacing with borrowers and joint venture partners
• Analyzing property performance trends/preparing asset property valuations
• Evaluating and coordinating earnouts and collateral releases
• Approving and coordinating loan payoffs
• Reviewing and approving all fundings (lockbox and loan)
• Reviewing insurance levels for proper property and loss of rents coverages
• Executing on loan workouts including deal structuring, negotiations, credit request preparation, document review and modification closings
• Performing/assisting in asset sales/exits/joint ventures including marketing, negotiations, document review and closings
• Performing site inspections
• Reviewing and approving bids and contracts

Who we're looking for
To be successful in the role of Asset Manager - Real Estate Debt you will have;
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Real Estate related discipline
• Ability to prioritise high volume of work and be methodical in handling requests and issues
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proven technical skills in real estate loan asset management, underwriting, business plans, budgeting, workouts, transaction negotiation and marketing
• Proactive risk management of the portfolio
• Excellent written/oral communication skills
