Media Officer

Your main responsibility will be to lead and deliver strong and effective strategies promoting the organisation through the media.
You will have overall responsibility for all aspects of their media and communications work. This includes:
* Devising and delivering structured and rolling media strategy.
* Securing positive media coverage through strong relationships with key journalists and radio and TV producers.
* Building relationships with the network of media spokespeople.
* Parliamentary lobbying campaigns.
* Managing hostile media coverage.

Who we're looking for
A proven track record in a senior media and communications role within a similar sector, ideally in a not for profit organisation.
