Reporting directly into the CEO, this is a greenfield, stand-alone position with some international travel. You will Provide a full range of procurement support for the Operating Companies at tender and contract stages and increase profitability by best value procurement . The key focus is to improve service level with suppliers /client departments,implement procedures and supply agreements and source and negotiate with suppliers.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have a combination of the below -
• Previous experience as a Buyer within the Engineering industry.
• Site based experience an advantage.
• Good knowledge of suppliers, market prices and trends
• Ability to negotiate competitively and effectively
