Our client is looking to strengthen an already successful Supply Chain team by the creation of new strategic supply chain development role to rationalise and improve their existing supply chain, specifically the management of inventory flow. Reporting to the Logistics Director you will be responsible for the analysis and improvement of inventory movement end to end within our client's supply chain focusing on optimisation of the ordering process for replenishment. You will be a key driver in developing dynamic procedures to improve availability and a key decision maker focusing on the most efficient method to move inventory. A key point of contact between procurement, suppliers, and stores, you will interact with all stakeholders to provide a high level view of supply chain performance and facilitate improvement activities.

Who we're looking for
Of degree calibre, you will have a proven track record of success in a supply chain development role, from a retail or FMCG environment. You will have a key achievement within supply chain, specifically focusing on end to end improvement. You will be a key communicator at all levels with the ability to influence both internally and externally. You will be highly analytical, with a pragmatic approach to problem solving and an eye for detail. Whilst an understanding of physical distribution will be useful, the successful candidate must have the ability to operate at a strategic level.
