Our Client is looking to recruit an IT Contracts Assistant Solicitor to assist two partners and a senior associate with the drafting and negotiation of IT and IT outsourcing contracts, acting for both customers and suppliers in the public and private sectors.
Who we're looking for
Ideally our Client requires an Assistant whom has experience of IT and outsourcing contracts however,they will also consider candidates with a more general commercial background who wish to move into this area provided they have a genuine interest in technology.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of client relationships and support the teams' business development strategy, by both writing articles and speaking at seminars.
The successful candidate will be motivated by the quality of the work on offer and the prospects of career progression.
A commercial attitude and an outgoing personality are essential.
There is a close knit team therefore,they require a team player that is also quite sociable.
They will consider candidates from in-house or private practice backgrounds provided they have the relevant experience and/or a genuine interest.
This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with the drive and ambition to match their legal skills.
A balance between supervised work and the freedom to lead on matters will be offered.
There is likely to be the opportunity of a secondment.
