Overall Job Objective
To produce and implement programme plans for the various, Area, channel and product management teams that will deliver the planning created by the Market Sector and Business Development Managers.
Main Duties
Leading a team of 4 to 5 and managing the interface with the marketing services team the job holder will provide the resources for the development and implementation of tactical plans that deliver the strategic direction from the market and business development managers:
• Direct resources to undertake the situational, customer needs and competition analysis
• Create the programme plans that will be needed by Business and Product managers to direct their teams to implement relevant Product Service Offer's
• Create the marketing and sales collateral needed for the marketing communications mix using the resources of marketing services
• Manage and coordinate exhibitions
• Deliver the plans as required at area meetings, workshops, briefings etc. ensuring successful implementation using change management as a methodology as required.
• Support the project needs for the Business development managers, including development of materials for application technology
• Take direct responsibility for project management of significant projects that affect the overall business e.g. the general PSO reviews or channel plan delivery
• Ensure that programme plans deliver the intended competitive
• Give support to the Strategic Marketing Manager for specific projects that may arise from time to time
Decision making
• Decision authority on resource allocation of team
• Resource allocation to meet sector strategy including business management, sales and financial focus
• Regional Business Units and sector priorities agreed in advance with strategic marketing manager
• Incurring expenditure (with guidance from Market Sector managers) for market research, promotion advertising, exhibitions and other marketing collateral
Hardest part of job
• Delivery of programme plans, to demanding deadlines that deliver results to the Business and Area business whilst juggling the resource needs of the market sector and Business development managers.

• Relevant technology qualification desirable
