Our client, a London based major international film studio, is looking for a Business Development Manager to work within it's media and advertising team. Reporting directly into the Marketing and Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for developing & maintaining close working relationships with clients & agencies in order to generate revenue through partnerships, sponsorship & promotions for both TV, Film and general media channels. This will include working with existing clients, as well as identifying new businesses that may be relevant to the needs of the business.
Responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to:
• Responsible for achieving challenging revenue targets
• Build sponsorship & promotions pitch documents & presentations
• Manage advertising agencies and work with clients on promotions acrossrelevant businesschannels
• Exploring deals to include our sister companies and their products, and European channels
• Working closely with Marketing to ensure all deals are integrated & capitalised upon for marketing partnerships
Who we're looking for
To be considered for this Business Development Manager role, our client is looking for candidates to illustrate the following:
• Experience of working in a sponsorship role
• Good TV/media industry knowledge and broad business awareness/understanding
• A broad client base
• Excellent presentational skills
• Excellent organisational skills and able to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Strong communication skills, and ability to work within a team environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficient
• Highly motivated and good sense of initiative
• You will ideally be immediately available or close enough to it
