This is a genuinely exciting role within a major player in 3rd Party Logistics working on behalf of a major UK Brand. Reporting to the Contract Manager who manages an operating budget of c.£10m pa, you will take responsibility for Warehousing. The right candidate must have managed a large team. The successful candidate will have managed up to 60 operatives however this could double during peak.
Key Accountabilities include : -
• Effective leadership of operational and administration teams
• Delivery of KPI and Service Level's.
• Maximising accuracy, productivity and space utilization.
• Ensuring Daily / weekly workload planning and volume forecasting routines are accomplished.
• Motivating staff and driving a culture of health and safety and continuous improvement.

Who we're looking for
You will have managed in a fast-moving distribution environment and have experience of KPI management. With a high commitment to customer service, you will be able to analyse the operation to identify areas for improvement and implement the changes accordingly. The successful candidate will also be able to display strong skills in the areas of communication and people management.
