Principal Accountabilities:
• Press office
- Initial point of contact internally for press calls; review and manage requirements in line with the communications plan/agreed strategy; provide a regular report on all calls received and resulting media coverage. Liaise with PR agency.
• Copywriting
- Provision of copywriting services to include exhibition literature and stand material, press releases and associated material, feature submissions, marketing material, briefing notes, speeches and internal communications.
• Internal comms
- Preparation and delivery of internal comms plan including electronic newsletter, company intranet, Hive announcements, staff communications and internal presentations
• Business Unit PR
- Provision of internal press office function including drafting media releases for specific business units including but not limited to retail and residential.
• Agency management and liaison
- Work closely with the corporate PR agency to ensure coordination across all activities and effective implementation of the operational PR plan
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in PR & Communications, with an emphasis on media relations, issue & crisis management, internal communications, marketing communications collateral, management of agencies, press release writing
