Manage a portfolio of Retail business partners (accounts) in a defined geographical location to deliver sales volume against strategic retail targets
1. To achieve monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs throughmanagement of strategic retail business partners in specific geographical territory.
2. To provide field support to each account as required by the business.
3. To produce effective account planning and contact strategies to ensure objectives are met.
4. Demonstrate a strong understanding of company product range and promotions:
?X Knowledge of features and benefits of the product range.
?X Knowledge of the retail customer needs.
?X Knowledge of all competitor products.
?X Knowledge and feedback of the competitor activity in the retail market place.
5. Training and coaching of retailer and their staff to sell company products and services.
6. Proactively manage designated retail customer accounts to ensure.
?X New commercial sales opportunities are identified and captured.
?X Maximised productivity from the retail partner.
?X Retail partner satisfaction is maintained.
?X Effective contact strategy is maintained.
?X An ethical and honest representation of company brand values, its products and services
7. Effectively manage sales administration and planning activities.
?X Upkeep of quality records of store visits.
?X Sales analysis.
?X Production of timely reporting.
8. Maintain personal focus to ensure delivery of defined key business objectives through the ability to work autonomously without direct supervision. Self starting essential. This is a field-based role.
9. To promote the image of the Retail department in line with the Brand Values and liaise with internal and external departments to ensure that deadlines are achieved with a flexible approach to work.
Who we're looking for
?X Strong verbal & written communication. Should be able to conduct sales presentations and negotiations at various levels
?X High degree of flexibility (in terms of attitude and work) and resilience.
?X Ability to influence and build effective relationships/partnerships.
?X Good negotiation and motivational skills essential.
?X Ability to gather and analyse business related information from which to create effective sales plans and tactics.
?X Has the technical competence that will enhance customer confidence.
?X Is a team player but must be able work autonomously. Strong self motivation and discipline required.
?X Is computer literate.
