Financial Controller

Reporting in to the UK Managing Director, this is a challenging role where you will be a key member of the management team responsible for the financial management of the UK company and improving business performance/profitability.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the country's financial department including accounting, taxes, treasury and audit processes
• Managing new and existing systems and processes
• Preparing the financial elements of the plans/budgets in close cooperation with the Country MD and Business Development Manager
• Implementation of internal control policies and development of country specific procedures relating to accounting and finance
• Reporting financial performance of operations
• Driving working capital improvements in the country
• Directing and coordinating the development and management of budgets, forecasts and strategic planning process of the country
• Supporting the business development activities in the country by preparing financial reports and analyses needed to evaluate growth target
• Responsible for the financial aspect of the integration of new business

This is a highly visible position that will liaise closely with the Group CFO/Team currently based in Sweden. There will also be a high level of interaction with cross functional groups from around the business including supporting operational staff at clinic level.

Who we're looking for
Applicants will be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with a desire to join a global organisation which is looking to further expand through acquisition. The role requires a team player who has good communication skills and is able to control the day to day finances whilst supporting the company's continued growth strategy.
