Factory Accountant

The purpose of the Factory Accountant is to be an integral part of the finance team, at both the main sites reporting directly into the Finance Director.Prime responsibility of the role is to produce specific reports for Operations Managers and the Senior Management Teams. Specific responsibilities:
• Working within the remit of the departmental budget in terms of performance, costs and value added, ensuring all Company and departmental aims and objectives are met

• To have direct responsibility for Shift Administrator & Factory Accounts Assistant.

• To assist the Finance Director in achieving Company objectives.

• Ensuring regular ongoing appraisal and development of all front-line managers and staff within area of control.

• Receiving, identifying and recommending changes to systems and processes as appropriate.

• Establishing and maintaining effective communication channels at all levels within the department and across functions

• Maintain the highest quality standard at all times, observe / follow 5C condition, ensure good housekeeping
