This position will be responsible for single site projects/programs purchasing , possibly in support of multi-site programs. this role forms the link between the strategic global purchasing function and the specific site purchasing requirements/
Key Responsibilities
•Manage the purchasing team to ensure maximum integrity and efficiency for site manufacturing
•Lead supplier negotiations and form lasting relationships
•Manage Supplier Selection process and document recommendations.
•Formulate contract, including analysis and identification of an effective flow down process, commercial and special business provision and all relevant documentation, giving consideration to the through life cycle requirements of the program.
•Manage purchasing team to achieve performance to program milestones and cost objectives.
•Manage and communicate a formal Risk Management process.
•Ensure demonstrable supplier capability to support programme change.
•Negotiate and approve changes to suppliers and manage implementation.
Who we're looking for
•Graduate calibre
•Proven professional purchasing experience in a complex manufacturing sector,
•Experience in managing multi-tier supply chain programs, advanced negotiations and forecasting.
Should posses:
Complex procurement experience<BR>Product experience, e.g. mechanical or electrical products and some of the more complex technologies
Good teamwork, leadership skills and initiative.
Familiar with industry requirements.
