Head of Marketing

Lend Lease's leading asset, Bluewater is a c. £2 billion business with an annual footfall of 27 million people. Due to continued growth, this truly inspirational retail and leisure destination is looking for a commercially minded strategic marketer to take them to the next level.
Working with the General Manager you will have full responsibility for the Bluewater marketing and communications function. You will be expected to drive the business forward through insightful, commercially focussed marketing that operates beyond the realms of standard marketing communications.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
+ Overall control for the development and reputation of the Bluewater brand on a local, national and international level
+ Creation and management of commercially driven, innovative marketing and communications strategies
+ Define, create and manage a market research programme
+ Full budgetary control
+ PR Strategy
+ Strategic marketing and communications counsel to management team
+ Leadership and development of the marketing team

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will need the following skills and experience:
+ Proven marketing experience within a large company structure
+ Excellent leadership skills
+ Ability to understand the 'bigger picture'
+ Proven experience of working with key stakeholders
+ Strong commercial acumen; the ability to utilise your marketing experience to deliver upon KPIs and stakeholder expectations
