Job Role
Reporting to the Kraft Foods Europe (KFEU) Finance Director, responsible for leading and managing the KFEU accounting team, providing all internal customers, including senior management, with a comprehensive financial service. Core responsibilities include:
- Accounting and reporting of KFEU US GAAP and Swiss statutory results
- Manage P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and overheads
- Responsible for preparation of detailed KFEU overhead budgets, presentation of overhead budgets to senior management, and identification of associated opportunities and risks
- Responsible for ongoing reporting of overheads vs. plan and providing detailed analysis of variances
- Manage, train and develop a team of approximately 16 people
- Ensure proper controls are in place and functioning to safeguard KFEU company assets and to guarantee the reliability of financial statements in line with Kraft policies and procedures
- In coordination with Internal Controls Manager, ensure that the SOX process is managed effectively
- Manage external statutory audits for KFEU
- Coordinate activities and ensure service level adherence with the European Shared Service centre

Who we're looking for
- University degree or equivalent
- Accounting (CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP accounting principles
- Good knowledge of Swiss statutory accounting principles
- Experienced with working within an integrated systems environment, and solid background in financial accounting and reporting
- Proven track record of strong leadership and very good people management skills in order to manage a dynamic team within a large matrix organization
- Proven drive for results, self-motivated and proactive 'can do' personality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to deal with confidential information (e.g. salary data) and to act with discretion
- Proven ability as a team player, capable of winning respect, trust and confidence
- Well-organized with good analytical, reporting and presentation skills;
- Ability to work with different systems (SAP, MFG Pro, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in accounting/financial controlling, ideally in an international environment
- Fluent in English (other EU language preferable)
