Senior Intercompany Accountant

Job Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, manage intercompany accounting processes to ensure efficiency, simplification and harmonization within Europe:
- Responsible for confirming final intercompany statements at period close
- Reconciling all intercompany receivables and payables accounts
- Supervise, train and develop one subordinate
- Manage linkage with European Business Services Centre and ensure smooth flow of information/processes
- Liaise with countries to provide guidance and ensure compliance on intercompany processes

Who we're looking for
- University degree or equivalent (economics or accounting)
- Solid understanding of accounting techniques and procedures, including US GAAP and local accounting principles
- Well-organized and detail focused, with good analytical skills
- Good level of skill with Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, and a team player
- Proven track record of self-management and time management, and proven drive for results
- Proactive and resourceful in solving problems
- Action oriented and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to supervise and train subordinates
- Working in accounting and controlling at a large multinational company
- Knowledge of working with an integrated ERP system (preferably SAP)
- Fluent in English (other EU language preferable)
