Senior Manager, New Product Development

The strategic goal for this role is to support the Head of Business Development in diversifying income streams as a result of introducing new Cross-Sales products and services to customers in the UK portfolio:

Support development process of high quality strategy for Cross-Sales that addresses key issues and generate practical alternatives
Conduct Research to develop tailored propositions that meet the customer need and are well positioned relative to competition and market / technology trends.
Interface with the Customer Segment teams, Customer Insight, other and the brand and marketing function
Identify opportunities for new pools of product growth in conjunction with the Marketing NPD team and Barclays Insurance
Deliver and launch New Products into channels, conducting all relevant activities (e.g. specification, business case development, support to technical development / implementation)

Who we're looking for
Proven experience of effective product management,project management,Innovative thinking
Degree level education or equivalent

Leadership experience<BR>?{ Customer Insight / research experience<BR>Essential
Satisfies the FSA criteria for an approved person, both initially and ongoing
Management experience in FTSE 100 company

Preferred
Marketing, communications or business administration qualifications
Strategy development experience<BR>?{ Influencing cross sales growth
Product diversification
Development of a high performing team
Identification and generation of new sources of income from scarce channel resources and marketable contacts
